May Day Luncheon!

We were blessed to be asked to cater a May Day luncheon to a group of amazing women and I just had a blast! I am proud of the presentation and the appetizers were sooooo yummy! My personal bruschetta recipe, spinach and mushroom puffs and cucumbers stuffed with crab salad! I have to say the cupcakes were a huge hit as well with the brownie delights being a favorite. We hope to continue to be a part of this fabulous event going forward. Hint, hint Julie ;-)

Girls Night Out!

Cupcake and Lena was out and about at the posh Kathleen Frances Interiors and introduced a new cupcake! Vanilla with Caramel and Toffe Crunch. It was a hit! We were so excited to be a part of this fun event and that Kathleen invited us to her store. If you haven't been in there yet you HAVE to check it out! It is on 371 north in the old school house by Weichert Realtors. She has AMAZING things in her store!

Met with Michelle and Ruthie G today to discuss our event this Sunday and I had an amazing day. The sun was out and we chillaxed on the deck to discuss the details. So excited! This will be such a fun event. We are catering a Tropical theme with full decorations and dessert. Look for pictures to come....

We're Live!

It's an amazing day when you get to see your dreams and visions come to life! Today cupcakeandlena.com went live and I am super tickled! Of course, it all would never have been possible without the work of the most amazing marketing company in the Brainerd Lakes area, the Seriously Fun Marketing Group. I have always been a creative person and love to cook so it is a beautiful thing to bring the two together. My passion is event planning with a vision. That means taking a concept and bringing it to life visually with the decorations and the food. I hope you enjoy following our journey and make sure you keep us in mind for all of your events!!
